ICL's cells and cuvettes meet the most exacting requirements of modern spectrophotometric procedures. All spectrophotometer cells are completely fused without the use of low melting intermediate glasses or cements. In other words, quartz is fused to quartz and glass is fused to glass. This eliminates strains due to differences in coefficients of expansion found in cells fused with intermediate low melting temperature glasses. Because of the fused construction, the window joints of ICL spectrophotometer cells are unaffected by all types of cleaning solutions.

ICL's economical polystyrene and polymethyl methacrylate ("PMMA") cuvettes offer superior optical performance coupled with the convenience of being disposable. Using disposable spectrophotometer cells eliminates cleaning and cross contamination.PMMA cuvettes transmit in the UV and VIS spectral range from 285nm to 750nm. Polystyrene cuvettes are available as (i) Semi-micro 10mm pathlength cuvettes with 1.5ml volume, (ii) fluorometry cuvettes with 4 clear sides in a 10mm pathlength with 4.5ml volume, and (iii) standard VIS cuvettes in 10mm pathlength with 4.5 ml volume. The Square Cuvette Holder is suitable for all cuvette style rectangular cells with a 10mm lightpath. The clear aperture is 20mm x 10mm. The cell holder properly aligns the spectrophotometer cell in the beam of an IR or FTIR spectrophotometer. It fits the 2" x 3" universal slide mount in all IR and FTIR spectrophotometers.
The Adjustable Cuvette Holder accepts rectangular cuvette style spectrophotometer cells with pathlengths ranging from 1mm to 50mm and aligns the cell in the beam of any IR or FTIR spectrophotometer. It fits the 2” x 3” universal slide mount in all IR & FTIR spectrophotometers. This holder can be used only with rectangular cells.
Disposable polyethylene caps for PS and PMMA cuvettes can also be used with any standard 10mm pathlength fused silica cuvette style spectrophotometer cell.
The PTFE Magnetic Cell SpinRound fits into the standard 10mm rectangular cuvette style spectrophotometer cell and provides rapid vertical and horizontal mixing with minimum vortexing. The one piece molded unit will not scratch cuvettes and has no crevices to trap dirt. The overall dimensions are 9.5mm diameter x 8mm high.
Molded polypropylene Spectro Cell Rack holds twenty 10mm lightpath cuvette style spectrophotometer cells in two tiers with numbered square wells. The rack is meant for standard cells with a 12.5mm width. The rack is sloped to make the second tier more accessible. Overall dimensions 6 11/16” x 2 3/4” x 3/8”.
The Cylindrical Cell Holder mounts fused silica cylindrical spectrophotometer cells in IR and FTIR spectrophotometers and properly aligns the cell in the path of the instrument’s beam. This holder can be used with 10mm, 50mm and 100mm pathlength cells. The clear aperture is 19mm. It fits the 2” x 3” universal slide mount in all IR & FTIR spectrophotometers.
The disposable polystyrene stirring spatulas are 3mm diameter x 120mm long and are shipped in packs of 100. They are ideal for cuvette style spectrophotometer cells.
The Sampler/Syringe is made of polypropylene and can be used with hot liquids. Graduated with a capacity of one ounce (30cc). The sampler/syringe is ideal for transferring liquids to rectangular cells or another type of vessel.
This vacuum operated spray device was designed for washing, rinsing and drying the interior of a UV-VIS cuvette style spectrophotometer cell. The cell washer head is made of polyethylene and the 500ml flask is made of polypropylene. The cell cleaner is capable of cleaning individual rectangular cells with lightpaths of 5mm, 10mm and 20mm. The cell washer comes complete with a 500ml flask, washer head, stopper and 1/4" wide aspirator tubing. The cell washer is ready for connection to a vacuum pump or line for cleaning or drying

Plunger-type cell mixers are fabricated from clear acrylic plastic. These mixers have been designed to aid the user when adding enzymes and other materials to solutions in cells. The spectrophotometer cell mixers feature 9.2mm x 9.2mm square plunger ends for standard 10mm pathlength cuvettes and 9.2mm x 3.5mm rectangular plunger ends for semi-micro cuvette style spectrophotometer cells.
